Homework
Each week you child will have reading, math and spelling homework. If they are spending
more than 45 minutes on their total homework (including reading), then please let
me know. My purpose of homework is for review and or practice. I do not want students
going home and becoming frustrated every night about completing homework.
Monday:

Write spelling words two or three times.

Math Worksheet
v
Read for 10-15 minutes.
Tuesday:

Spelling ABC order/ other spelling activity
v
Math Worksheet.
v
Read for 10-15 minutes.
Wednesday:
v
Spelling sentences.
v
Study Spelling words for pre-test
v
Math Worksheet.
v
Read for 10-15 minutes.
Thursday:
v
Language sheet.
v
Study spelling words for test.
v
Math Worksheet.
v
Read for 10-15 minutes.
Friday:
v
Read over the weekend 15-20 minutes.
***If your child does not complete their homework for any reason, I would like a
note from a parent explaining what happened. If there is not a note then they may
loose a privilege. This is just to make sure that we are all communicating because
home practice is very important.
